Scuba Diving in Cinque Island

A part of the Andaman and Nicobar Island cluster, Cinque Island is an uninhabited little gem. The island has been split into two- North Cinque and South Cinque, which lie connected to each other by a natural serene white sandbar. North Cinque is famous for thrilling watersports like scuba diving. The island has no residents, and getting here requires a little bit of effort. However, once you reach, you'll have the entire island to yourself. 

Cinque island is a hugely captivating and vibrant part of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands consisting of enthralling corals and beautiful fish species. As it is known for its crystal-clear waters, this is an apt spot for anyone who wishes to admire nature through Andaman’s scuba diving adventures.  The waters here are crystal clear and offer visibility to up to a depth of 70 feet. The ideal time for scuba diving in Cinque Island would be between the months of February and March when the winds are low. 

The flora and fauna here are spectacular, making it an excellent scuba diving location. Black corals may be seen, and divers may have the opportunity to observe sharks, which is a once-in-a-lifetime event. Large shoals of brightly coloured fish, as well as corals, may be seen even when snorkeling. Starfish, jellyfish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and sea anemones are some of the most frequent marine species found. Sharks, turtles, and dolphins may all be found on Cinque Island.
