Trekking in Bilikal Rangaswamy Betta

Looking for an exciting adventure to get you away from the confines of the concrete jungle, and out exploring the great outdoors? Trekking is a great way to refresh your mind, body, and soul after a hectic week in the office. For those of you seeking an adventure that truly pushes you to your limits, trekking in Bilikal Rangaswamy Betta could be the right fit for you. Bilikal Rangaswamy Betta is a famous hill located in Kanakapura and gets its name from "white rocks". Trekking on this hill is quite challenging because it is a massive granite rock with dense shrub forest.

The Lord Ranganatha Swamy Temple rests on top of the hill and features ancient architecture in its structure. This hill harbors a large number of elephants due to which trekkers need to be extra careful and get permission from the Forest Department first. The trekking trail begins at Konala Doddi. The Bilikal Rangaswamy Trek is a moderate hike that follows a well-marked path to the summit. It takes 2.5 hours to go uphill and 1.5 hours to hike downward. The trail starts with a half-kilometer stroll on a rather flat path, after which the forest thickens and the hill steepens dramatically. The trail is constantly winding uphill and has some relatively difficult sections.

So, push yourself to the limit, with an exciting trek at Bilikal Rangaswamy Betta.
