All you want to know about the Experience
Wish you could add a dose of adventure to your weekend plans? The Bheemeshwari Nature and Adventure Camp located just two hours from the city of Bangalore, on the banks of the swiftly flowing, River Cauvery gives you a chance to spend your day away from your work routine amidst the simple beauty of nature as it thrives unhindered by mankind.
The camp combines adventure and nature for an experience that will leave you grinning ear-to-ear. Here, you can spot deer, crocodiles, turtles, snakes, (if you are lucky, majestic elephants) and around two hundred bird species. The primary draw of this beautiful, rustic camp is the Mahseer, one of the biggest gamefish known to man! You can’t fish in the cool, grey-green waters of the iconic Cauvery River but spotting this massive silvery fish is sure to delight and astound you. If you’re ready for a dopamine rush in this gorgeous location surrounded by the fresh, green shoots of trees, delicate wildflowers and softly moving wildlife, this adventure camp gives you a variety of options to get you moving!
Zipline and catch a birds-eye view of the glistening water and thickets of forest, or kayak down the river. You can also get high in the air with rope activities created for the adventurer in you! The best time to visit Bheemeshwari Nature and Adventure Camp is during the months of August and February, after the monsoon rains has brought life to the countryside, turning it lush and vibrant. Ornithologists will delight in catching sight of the birds that flock to the fertile lands of the river such as wood peckers, river terns, fishing eagles and numerous water birds.
