About Gopinatham Mystery Trails

Managed by Jungle Lodges and Resorts, this camp is located on the border of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka within the Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary, enriched by the Cauvery River, is home to diverse wildlife including tigers, elephants, leopards, and rare birds like the white-rumped vulture and Nilgiri wood-pigeon.

Set amidst grassy hills and deciduous forests, the camp offers guided nature walks, bird watching, and treks to scenic viewpoints. Guests can also visit a memorial honoring a forest officer who sacrificed his life in service.

Just 13 km away is the stunning Hogenakkal Falls, where visitors can enjoy coracle boat rides on the cascading waters.

Spectacular place to breathe some fresh air , witness scenic beauty and fantastic hospitality.
Good Experience with a morning walk around the lake and the evening boat ride in the sunset. The calmness is refreshing. Go there to recharge from the rush of life and come back energized. Staff was very supportive.
Very nice experience. The safari in the evening and the nature walk in the morning were enjoyable. Facilities were quite nice. Organizing team was very courteous and hospitable. Room was clean.
It's a heaven for bird photography. Children play area is available. Camp offers excellent food, Jeep safari, coracle ride and a trek in the forest approx 5-6 kms. Liquour is not served. Need to buy it for self. Staff are friendly.
