All you want to know about the Experience

About the experience

If you look at pictures of Wayanad, the image that stands out is of a carpet of green, spreading across hills, valleys and grasslands. The landscape is so perfect, that you could compare it with the wallpapers that appear on your desktop.

This half day hike takes you through the Sugandhagiri range, lined with tea gardens that stretch as far as the eye can see. The delicate tea leaves unfurl in the sunshine and the multitude of plants sprout across the gentle slopes of the mountain range. The majestic rock formation stands tall under the sky, creating an enchanting vista of green blankets, craggy shoulders and slender trees.

This lush spot is great for birding and the guide will help you spot some of the winged creatures that grace this region.

As you walk along the plantation, you’ll eventually reach a jungle stream, gushing across grey rocks. Trace the river as you follow it upstream or take a dip in its icy, pearl-white waters.
