The staff is first-class, efficient and friendly
A big bonus is that the residents get to go on a safari in jeeps, while people from other resorts go in huge cantors. The jeep drivers and guides are very knowledgeable about wildlife and also very articulate in English. - My special kudos must go to the wonderful, knowledgeable naturalists, the enthusiastic drivers who just seem to sense the presence of the big cats for which travelers come from far and wide to see, still return happy to have enjoyed just the sheer experience of driving through an Indian jungle. Would I claim this to be on par with the best sanctuaries of the country? A resounding YES!
- We had booked the Maharaja cottage, which is right at the banks of the river. The room is huge and extremely well maintained, it has everything you need. The housekeeping team (Mr. Mahesh and his staff) keep the rooms clean and well maintained.
- The location, courteous staff, service with a smile, large well-appointed clean rooms with balconies, and good food make it worthwhile. The sight of the Kabini backwaters and the chirping of birds is relaxing.

Check in, settle down and freshen up.

Treat yourself to a sumptuous lunch at the Gol Ghar.
3:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Gear up for a ride into the Park with tea/ coffee served at the Gol Ghar.
3:30 pm - 6:15 pm
Our naturalists take you on a wildlife Safari in vehicle or boat safari into the Nagarhole National Park, showing & sharing their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there.
6:30 pm - 7:15 am
Tea/ coffee served at the Gol Ghar.
7:45 pm - 8:15 pm
Watch a wildlife movie at the Interpretation center.
8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Bask in the warmth of the campfire, while you dine in the Gol Ghar, exchanging tales of the jungle with the other guests and our staff.

Wake up to a hot early morning cup of tea/coffee.
6:30 am - 9:15 am
Cruise through the serene backwaters of the River Kabini on a motor boat viewing sleepy crocodiles and chirpy birds, intent on their morning catch. View a variety of wildlife, especially the elephants, coming to the river for bath or a drink. Alternatively, you can go on a jeep safari to sight the animals, which means you can have the boat ride the evening before.
