About Scuba Diving for Beginners
Kapu Beach, a pristine and less crowded white sand beach near Udupi, offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea and a vibrant marine ecosystem, making it an ideal spot for first-time scuba divers.
This course is designed for beginners aged 10 and above who are reasonably fit. The day begins with a briefing on scuba diving basics and equipment, followed by a boat ride to an island. Participants practice breathing and controlling movements in shallow water before diving to depths of up to 12 meters.
Instructors closely monitor each dive, which typically lasts 30-40 minutes depending on comfort and breathing ability. Clear waters from 8 am to 4:30 pm provide excellent visibility to explore colorful coral reefs and schools of fish. A short underwater video of the dive is provided, with longer videos available at an extra charge.

Scuba Diving for Beginners Itinerary
08:00 AM
Report at Kapu Beach and recap over the basics of scuba diving.
09:00 AM
Get on the boat and enjoy a 40 min boat ride to the dive site.
10:00 AM
Strap yourself with the scuba gear, and submerge yourself in the waters.
02:30 PM
Once all participants have completed their dive, head back to Kapu Beach where the images and videos of the dive will be transferred to you.
