If you are a first-time diver, we have just the right course for you! We reckon that scuba diving is on your bucket list and we are here to help you tick it right off of it! Join a group of experienced scuba divers and swim under the surface to witness beautiful coral reefs and rich aquatic life. At Pondy, diving is conducted throughout the year. Our UNA crew will handpick diving sites and dive groups that best match your skills and abilities. Strap on your scuba diving equipment and go on a thrilling sea adventure.

Location: Pondicherry

Itinerary
Arrival:
7:00am (appx.) -The exact timing is shared the evening before with all guests according to best weather conditions, location and other details.
On arrival:
After assembling at our dive center in Pondicherry heritage town, guests change into their dive suits and travel in their own vehicle to our waterfront property (waterman's village near the mangroves) (10 minutes from the dive center)
Boat Ride to Dive Center:
The guests will be taken to our dive sites 6 kms off shore (35 min) with snacks.
Ocean Dive:
1-on-1 with our experienced dive professionals. The time underwater is unlimited on 1 air tank (on average between 30 to 45 minutes). Underwater photographs are included in our package. According to group size we spend up to 2 hours anchored at the dive site.
Boat Ride Back:
We take the guests back to waterman's village (35 minutes) and from there back to the dive center in Heritage Town (10 minutes).
Completion of the Scuba Dive:
After changing, our guests receive a Certificate of Participation for joining a scuba experience conducted under international safety guidelines and standards by PADI, the world's market leader in scuba diving.
Photos ( and videos if ordered):
Will be shared via link by Urban Nomad to each guest.
